The challenges and goals: Hawaii -- Surf, sun, sand, and natural resources galore. We were honored to help the state of Hawaii -- in connection with the National Renewable Energy Lab –- plan, design and launch a comprehensive sustainable energy campaign called the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative.
The big idea: Big bold images and a brand palette that only leverage Hawiian colors and tones. NREL came up with the tagline "It's up to us" and Adrenaline made the message come to life.
The result: A highly successful launch planted the Hawaii Clean Energy Intiative in the minds of the Hawaiian people and made renewable energy and energy independence a hot topic of converation across the state. The initiative is well on its way to changing behaviors and achieving goals.
